Fresno Pedestrian Struck and Seriously Injured on Gettysburg Avenue
FRESNO, CA (November 7, 2022) – Late at night on Saturday in Fresno, a pedestrian was struck and seriously injured. The November 5 crash occurred on Gettysburg Avenue, close to where First Street is located.
The time was roughly 9:45 p.m., police said.
According to Robert Dewey, who is a lieutenant with Fresno Police, the pedestrian was walking across Gettysburg Avenue, not within a crosswalk that is marked.

Responders transported the patient to the hospital. She suffered major head injuries, reports say, and her condition is serious.
Her identity–including name, age, and city of residence–has not been reported.
The driver’s identity has also not been reported.
